Watch for Peel

We stopped in @ Mohawk Tuesday night to check out local indie band Peel, and pleasantly found a diamond in the rough. While the comparisons to Pavement and the Meat Puppets may prove positive at times, there is more to this band that will come to fruition given some time and some experience. Sharing vocal duties amongst Josh, Allison, and Dakota the band delivered a set rich with selections off of their current release on local Peek-A-Boo records, Peel. Sliding Doors is a favorite of ours, and other selections from the self titled release are quickly lining up and winning over our approval, as we acquaint ourselves more with these f****** cute as sh** Peel kids.
