M & M’s + THE THE = Smiles
I have been a fan of The The since the 80′s, and feel like they were one of the most overlooked bands of their time. Matt Johnson penned some great songs in his day and although it be a candy commercial that brings us one of my favorite The The songs, it could be worse. It could be a commercial for a pregnancy test.

Ditto. At one point I made it my personal mission to listen to everything that Johnny Marr associated himself with. After finding The The in the early 90′s, I went back and listened to their complete work and I concur that they are vastly underrated. Dusk remains one of my all time favorite listens and “Slow Emotion Replay” remains one of my favorite songs of all time!
It’s all good stuff, and I hate to single out any particular song, but I have personal favorites. I was fortunate enough to latch on to this band early on, and follow their progression even into the Johnny Marr years.
