Andy Rourke and Mike Joyce of The Smiths fame, have been collaborating with fellow Manchesterian and friend Stephen Petricco to bring us the upcoming documentary Inside The Smiths to be released on DVD July 16th. Once the rhythm section for the legendary band, the two have put together their own personal account of the times, which should include all of the usual antics of a band on the rise to quick fame and success. You can include Mark E Smith (the Fall), Peter Hook (New Order), Pete Shelley (Buzzcocks), and others in on the tale telling fun as well. Doubtful that Morrissey is happy about this, but then again is Morrissey happy about anything??? Just kidding Mo.
