Those Manchester Orchestra kids have had their hands full all year touring constantly since 2007 rang into existence, and the hard work is paying off in grand dividends. Currently co-headlining a tour with Colour Revolt, the band is set to play the Leeds and Reading Festivals across the mighty ocean, only to return to perform opening duties for Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Kings of Leon for a half dozen or so of dates. If that isn’t a fair enough reward for all of the hard work these guys have put in this year, then how about a date with the king of late night television…..David Letterman? Look for the lads from Atlanta to make their network television debut on The Late Show with David Letterman on Thursday 9.6. 07. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer bunch of guys.

I look forward to seeing the guys perform at the ACL Festival in a few weeks, and if you happen to be around, you might want to stop by the Austin Ventures stage @ 4 on Friday 8.14 to see for yourself what everyone else seems to be digging these days.
