The Will Sheff led, Austin based Okkervil River has just recently released The Stage Names, the follow-up to 2005’s Black Sheep Boy, and the first video from this recording has just hit the digital highway. “Our Life is Not a Movie or Maybe” was directed by Margaret Brown who you might be familiar with via her direction of the Townes Van Zant documentary Be Here to Love Me. Austinites recently had the opportunity to see the band performing tracks from the new release at Waterloo records during an in-store performance, and if you missed out, the next opportunity to see the guys local won’t be until November’s Fun Fun Fun Fest.
