Last I posted information about Minus The Bear’s fall tour there wasn’t an Austin date scheduled, much to my dismay, but things have changed. If you could see me now, you would see the grin on my face from ear to ear, barely able to control my excitement after discovering the 10.19 date posted on the bands schedule, bringing them to Emos. Happy, happy, joy, joy! Although many have panned the most recent release, Planet of Ice, I personally think it’s one of the best records put out this year. It’s an epic rock record, and maybe that’s the problem people have with it……it’s a ROCK record. Naysayers keep your lazy eye on the future of this band, and you’ll see the people speak about the greatness of this recording over time despite your flaccid reviews.
