It’s no secret that Austin’s Black Angels are one of my favorite listens currently, and the live show is nothing to shake at stick at either. Unless you do that at live shows, and then I would recommend that you stop, for both safety reasons and to avoid ridicule. The band just finished up a round of shows with Josh Homme & Co. (QOTSA), have a Halloween gig with a band that I’ve recently discovered and am quickly coming into much admiration of (Dead Confederate), and forge on with a smattering of dates with Spindrift.
