Coachella 2008 Lineup
This year’s Coachella lineup has just been released, and along with 80’s electronica pioneers Kraftwerk and 90’s indie rock icons Portishead, you’ll find a scheduled performance by the legendary former front-man of Pink Floyd, Roger Waters on the list. Performing entire albums is what all of the cool kids do these days and that is exactly what Mr. Waters will be doing at this year’s Coachella. The infamous Dark Side of The Moon will be the album that Roger tackles for the festival, and I for one, hope I’m there for this momentous occasion. In my own personal opinion, Pink Floyd ceased to exist when Waters left the band. Don’t get me wrong, Syd Barret was quintessential early Pink Floyd, but Waters was the foundation of the band’s early success that still remains classic Pink Floyd. This just sent my spiraling down the crazy path of memory lane.
