Congrats go out to our friends over @ Mohawk, for snagging Esquire’s “Best Bar” award recently. For those of you who haven’t been there lately, there have been some much welcomed improvements, including a huge deck overseeing the city with tables and chairs for your lounging pleasure, a green room that isn’t so private with sliding glass doors leading to the deck, and a lineup of performers that competes with Emo’s for my affection.

Sunday night, Jan 20th would be a great night to visit the ol Mohawk, if you don’t mind me saying. Dead Confederate will be bringing the rock from Athens, GA.
