You read about this happening several times a year it seems, and I’m sure it happens more times that we do hear, but it completely sucks. And of all artists out there, Maria Taylor? She’s seems like a sweetheart, her songs are great, and she’s a cutie. Sorry to hear about the thievery, Maria.

Hi all,

Yesterday in San Francisco Maria Taylor’s van was broken into.  Maria
and the band are pretty devastated as the culprits got away with 6
guitars, 2 suitcases, pedals, and plenty of merch.  We’re hoping some
of these items may turn up online or in local San Francisco pawn
shops. As you can imagine, this gear has lots of sentimental value as
well.  If anyone has any information, please have them send a message
to info@saddle-creek.com.

Maria has two more shows left with Jonathan Rice and Nik Frietas.
They’ll be playing with borrowed gear, but the shows will go on!
