I first happened upon these Canadian indie rockers last summer when their album In Our Bedroom After the War was rotating around the office of a magazine I was interning for. Since I’m a general sucker for mellow and melodic indie, it was pretty much love at first listen.

Stars has recently released a six-song EP called Sad Robots and are currently on tour, with ACL as one of their many stops.

I have previously seen the band live and have to say that they put on a good show. Stars has a great energy when performing and vocalists Amy Millan and Torquil Campbell (also members of Broken Social Scene) also banter pretty hilariously with one another.
