Stars Sad Robots EP
A blog posted last Wednesday on Stars’ myspace, lead fans to sadrobots.ca, which asked the question “Are You a Sad Robot?” Today the website went live, offering up a digital download of the band’s new Sad Robots EP. The EP features 5 new songs and a live (FREE!) version of “Going, Going, Gone” originally released on 2001’s Nightsongs. This is not new thing for Stars, as they released their most recent full-length, In Our Bedroom After the War, digitally just days after it was finished, with the physical release coming months later. Next up for the Montreal band is an upcoming North American tour, and who knows, with the band’s penchant for immediate digital releases, even more new material could be hitting our ears before the end of the year.
