Athen’s Twin Tigers aren’t playing the actual Festival in the park, but are making an appearance at one of the official Afterparties on Saturday night, and I highly recommend you make a stop to see the Tigers at work. The band has a full length recording Grey Waves, set for release in early 2010 and it’s already secured a spot as one of my favorite releases for the year. Shoegazey, soft-punk, whatever you want to call it, it rocks.
